Intro
Folio is a personal knowledge folio for biomedical and computational biology literature.
It has two jobs: preserve careful paper reading, and turn repeated ideas into reusable concepts. Public notes are selective. They keep the parts worth returning to: the question, the evidence, the mechanism, the caveats, and the links to later reading.
Layers
- Paper: numbered public reading notes.
- Concept: reusable background knowledge for recurring terms, mechanisms, diseases, and methods.
- Practice: analysis notes and technical workflows.
- Method: method-oriented topic pages.
- Story: longer-form synthesis and project narrative.

Reading Rule
No summaries for the sake of it. A paper note should make future reading easier: what the paper asks, what it shows, what it does not show, and what it connects to.
